QEP - Teaching, Learning and Assessment: Improving Student Achievement

This course is a video course.
Registration for the Fall 2009 semester will be open June 29, 2009 through November 20, 2009.
All course work for the Fall semester must be turned in by November 30, 2010.

This course will give you the psychological foundation to understand how learning, motivation, and individual differences relate to improving student achievement. In the videos, you will see demonstrated dozens of strategies that are being successfully used to enhance student achievement at all grade levels.

In this course you will learn how to:
• Create effective lessons and units that engage students in the learning process.
• Increase your students’ comprehension and retention levels.
• Connect with students who are resisting your best efforts to help them succeed.

    IMPORTANT: After completing course registration in Coursewhere (click on the Start Date of the Course to register), you will provided with a link to registration form (in the registration confirmation). Please click on the link and complete the registration form. This form is required for Drake and Relicensure credits. Course materials cannot be shipped if the registration form is not complete.
