ETHICS IN SPORTS raises sociological and ethical questions for those who teach and coach. At the same time presenters illustratehow philosophical analysis can clarify and help resolve the difficult moral and conceptual issues at stake.

Those who enroll will receive a Study Guide with readings and activities that expand concepts presented. There are no tests or final papers. Instead, there are application assignments for each segment that require you to summarize, design a plan or demonstrate comprehension of a new idea. Upon completion, your coursework and videotapes or DVD should be sent immediately to Drake University’s Distance Learning Center for grading. Coursework in graded continuously throughout the semester and is graded in the order in which it is received.
