PARENT-ATHELETE-COACH ALLIANCE is designed to assist coaches in developing strategies to
foster positive, effective relationships with the parents of the athletes they
coach. Course materials will guide coaches to explore changing backgrounds and
roles of coaches and parents, identify various family dynamics, and to examine
the perspectives of coaches, parents, athletes and administrators. The course
will also help coaches develop effective communication strategies to use with
parents, and ways to encourage appropriate parent involvement in their
programs.
