Assessment; TELPAS Rater Training, 1 hour Introduction

This workshop is designed for "newly" identified raters who will be holistically rating the English language proficiency of LEP students during Spring,2010.
Participants will be provided with a brief overview and introduction on holistic rating at this workshop. Participants will be expected to complete a series of online modules as required by TEA on their own time.
All training modules must be completed by October 23 and all qualifications must be completed by October 30th.
This workshop is also appropriate for individuals who were trained in prior years but who did not pass the online qualification test and for raters who did not complete their training modules.
