Audience: Principals and Administrators

Participants will learn how to create and administer a Blackboard course for their department/school. Course consists of one 3 hour face-to-face class and 15 hours of online work for a total of 18 hours. Course is offered once per semester.

Part 1 of a three part training for principals. This class will discuss effective technology integration in schools. National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) for administrators, principals, and students. Best practices in interactive whiteboard integration will also be modeled and discussed.

Prerequisite: Completion of Class 1

Description: Part 2 of a three part training for school administrators- Technology management and Productivity: making Technology Work on Your Campus. Participants will be introduced to MS Outlook, work orders, Blackboard, Access, and Excel data filtering.
