Online bookmarking allows people to save links to commonly visited websites on the Internet rather than on a specific computer. The benefits include having access to all of your bookmarks from anywhere, anytime you can get online and sharing your bookmarks with others. Learn how to set up an account and begin using features of online bookmarking.

Discovery United Streaming has video and multimedia, netTrekker d.i. provides a search engine for online resources organized by readability level, and the Gale databases include periodicals and reference materials. This webinar will provide participants with computer time to gain a better understanding of how to access these resources.

The digitization of primary source documents and distribution over the Internet has been expanding and getting easier. This workshop will assist educators in finding relevant documents and planning for their use with students. They will also learn about exciting opportunities for local digitization projects.

The concept of Digital Citizenship relates to the idea we are individuals with rights and responsibilities participating in connected global community. To help prepare students for their digital futures we must learn about and teach Digital Citizenship ourselves. This session will focus on issues of privacy and safety using a backdrop of online social networking and media.

1/13/10 - Digital Citizenship, Part II (Cyberbullying)
This session will focus on the prevalence and prevention of cyberbullying.
