Join us online to participate through Adobe Connect Pro. Presenters will be using microphones to broadcast. Participants will need a headset or speakers for listening and a keyboard for typing in text for chat. Log in from anywhere, even home or school. There is no face-to-face meeting.

A link to the meeting will be sent to registrants via email prior to the start of each session to allow access.

Participants can access a test link below to make sure their computer is properly configured to allow participation through Adobe Connect Pro. Then, just prior to each session, a link will be sent out to allow access to the learning space.

Delicious.com is also a great social bookmarking tool to share your links and/or follow what great sites others are saving.

It can be your own web space, but is also a great tool for sharing editing rights with multiple users for planning and organizational purposes. This session will show you how easy it is to set up a site at wikispaces.com.
• 11/10/09 - Photo Story to Share - Bring Photos to Life with Music, Narration & Special Effects
  Microsoft Photo Story 3 is a free download. This application allows users to import still photos, and then easily make them into a shareable Windows Media Video file by adding text captions, voice narration, special effects, and even music. Create a fabulous video story in minutes.
• 12/17/09 - iGoogle - Create a Personalized Home Page
  This Google tool allows logged-in users to set up a custom home page. Learn about Google gadgets and how to locate the tools that will help you get organized online, from clocks, to “To Do” notepads, to RSS feeds, to gadgets “just for fun.” There is something for everyone. Also learn about a couple of other online options besides iGoogle, for those who’d like to look at more than one before deciding.
• 1/26/10 - Google Docs - The End of Portable Storage?
  Remember the floppy disk? Now do you ever wonder which flash drive you saved that document on? Take a look at Google Docs for online creation of and access to documents, spreadsheets and presentations, even forms. As with many web tools, Google Docs allows potential for sharing online documents with multiple groups of users for online collaboration. Learn about options for sharing your documents online.
• 2/23/10 - Bloglines - Bringing the News Home to You
  Bloglines is a FREE online service for subscribing to news feeds, blogs, and rich web content. There is no software to download or install – simply register and access your account online. You can make your own personalized news page from live Internet content feeds including articles, blogs, images and audio. No need to worry about the confusion of news feed standards (RSS, Atom, etc.) Bloglines is easy to use and provides you with the tools you need to begin creating your own clippings of noteworthy items to save.
