Mandatory four day conference will provide Principals and Assistant Principals with necessary district training. Topics include (but not limited to) Truancy, RtI Updates, Inclusion, and Contractual Difficulties.

A continuation of the PLCīs in LISD 3-Part series. This session will focus on team dynamics and skillful facilitation. Each participating campus/department will receive a copy of "Team to Teach" by Anne Jolly.
      PLCs in LISD, Part III [A]
Final installment in the PLCs in LISD 3 Part series. This session will focus on the use of protocols to improve PLC effectiveness and efficiency. Each participaing campus/department will receive a copy of "Protocols for Professional Learning" by Lois Brown Easton.
      Promoting Excellence & Equity in Advanced Placement Program Courses
*BY INVITATION ONLY* - This is a one day workshop designed for administrators interested in examining the issues related to the development of instructional programs that reflect excellence and equity. The activities and discussions in this workshop are designed to help participants identify excellence & equity concepts that apply to all subject areas and further prepare students in AP courses. At the end of the workshop, participants will understand how to create high-achievement classrooms accessible to all students and to make curricular decisions to increase student achievement and access to AP courses.
      Safe and Civil Schools Overview for Administrators
Safe and Civil Schools is a nationally known program created by Dr. Sprick who works with school districts and administrators on discipline, attendance, and school safety issues. His interventions are research based and data driven.
      The Breakthrough Coach
Closed Registration-By Invitation Only. How to Work Less, Play More, and Still Get the Job Done in a Normal School Week. This two-day professional development teaches a proven method of working in conjunction with your campus/department secretary to give you: *Time in Classrooms, *Time to complete all parental, paperwork, and management issues, *Time to have a personal life, too! Administrators must register and attend both days and their secretary must register and attend the second day.
