Participants will understand expectations for future administrators as they go through the interview process. Through an interactive session, participants will learn effective interviewing strategies, attributes that are necessary to get through the pre-screening process and how to make positive first impressions.

This session, led by the LISD contracted-attorney, will focus on student discipline legal issues.

Administrators and prospective administrators only. In order to appraise teachers, administrators need to attend PDAS training. This workshop will prepare administrators to conduct effective appraisals. Participants will develop an understanding of the critical attributes of each PDAS domain and develop calibrated scoring guidelines. Must attend all 20 hours to receive certification.
