      Data Coaches Aware Work Session
This session is for data Coaches only! This working session using AWARE to prepare for training teachers in August.
      Discipline in the Secondary Classroom
YOU MUST REGISTER FOR EACH DAY SEPARATELY! The June 26th workshop is one day only. Discipline in the Secondary Classroom (a Safe and Civil Schools series) empowers school personnel with techniques to help all students behave responsibly and respectfully. The program is a comprehensive process of designing a positive and proactive discipline plan by laying the groundwork for developing and implementing effective behavior management and positive behavior support of all students. The Discipline in the Secondary Classroom book will be provided for each participant. It is a comprehensive and practical book for classroom teachers who want to improve their current classroom management plan.
      First-Year Teacher Support Meeting - Secondary
This meeting is for teachers new to the profession. Although it says "First-Year Teachers" the second-year teachers may also find it beneficial. These meetings are for the purpose of providing support to teachers in their first and/or second year of teaching. Various topics of interest will be presented.
      Safe and Civil Schools - LHS [A]
Developing and training of the campus and district behavior leadership teams
      STAR Meeting - Secondary [A]
These meetings are for teachers new to the profession. Their purpose is to provide support to teachers on several topics throughout the year.
      TCHS Researching the 21st Century Way
LISD is providing an excellent resource to the district. The Gale Virtual Library is an electronic collection of high quality reference ebooks. It also includes several ebooks that can be used by teachers for Continuing Professional Educaiton hours. In this session, you will be given an overview of how to access and use this valuable resource as well as a short overview of all the other databases that TCHS has available to you and your students.
