Intervention Training is designed to review the foundational skills necessary for early reading success and establish the rationale for using DIBELS as a screening and progress monitoring tool.
The participants:
·will use reports from the University of Oregon DIBELS web site to understand how to use DIBELS data to inform instruction
·use students´ DIBELS scoring booklets and foundational knowledge to match appropriate reading instruction to the needs of all students
·structure intervention lessons to ensure they are relevant, dynamic, systematic, and explicit
·explore opportunities to engage students during independent work and transition ·identify additional learning opportunities to continue understanding of how to build a firm foundation for early literacy success.
