Bridging the Gap: Universal Design for Learning
The Louisiana Department of Education, through the Division of Leadership and Technology is offering, Bridging the Gap through Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
This is an online course.
We will offer the 6-weeks online course which will provide an introduction to the components of Universal Design for Learning, the legal mandates for accessibility, and strategies for implementation and instruction.
Who can register?
Individuals: Individual educators, therapists, coordinators and program specialists working in a Louisiana public school system may register for the course.
The course will consist of reading assignments, weekly activities, a discussion forum and a group project. Participants must have Internet access and an active e-mail account. All communications will be submitted through e-mail.
Participants completing the course will receive
* 30 continuing learning units (CLUs) contingent upon district approval.
