Coaching Clusters are monthly meetings that take place at participating schools (demonstration sites) where the Regional Literacy Coordinator and Literacy Coaches review progress of implementation of the reading instruction at the school, grade, classroom and student level: successes and interferences. The meetings help to deepen teachers´ and coaches´ understanding of the link between the reading program and critical content areas. Assistance is provided in refining instruction of critical content by teaching and practicing in-class coaching. Debriefing and establishing next steps provide critical dialogue among the coaches.
