Phase II Class: MONITORED INDEPENDENT READING & INERACTIVE READ-ALOUDS K-6 - 10452689
Session: 242 Pre-requisite: Participants must have completed PHASE 1 BALANCED LITERACY TRAINING. This class will review the importance of providing students the opportunity to read independently, with teacher monitoring (MIR). This class will also focus on strategies to be used during interactive read-alouds. Both Monitored Independent Reading and Interactive Read-Alouds should occur daily within the Comprehensive Balanced Literacy Framework. |
