Pre-requisite: Participants must have completed PHASE 1 BALANCED LITERACY TRAINING.
This class will provide an overview of the Writer’s Workshop format and the implementation process within the Comprehensive Balanced Literacy Framework. The Writing Process and 6+1 Traits of Writing will also be taught and reviewed. Teachers will be able to return to their classrooms with strategies and lessons for immediate use. Whether you are a Kindergarten teacher, a primary grade teacher, or an intermediate teacher, you will find this information helpful.
