Managing the ´Classroom´ Environment

This workshop is designed to provide a foundation for comprehensive research-based practices in establishing an environment for optimum learning. Teaching and learning is not limited to the classroom or to the classroom teacher. Cafeteria, playgrounds, and hallways also need to be safe and orderly environments. Creating and implementing a clearly defined set of rules and procedures is key to promoting optimum performance of not only the students, but also the faculty and staff. This workshop series will incorporate an interactive format with opportunities for participants to read, discuss and work with other colleagues to share ideas for establishing positive learning environments in all areas of our schools.
