This 40 hour course prepares students for employment as dispatchers by familiarizing them with emergency communication centers, emergency telecommunication technology, interpersonal communication, legal issues, and job stress factors. Upon completion, students will take the certification exam through the ´National Academies of Emergency Dispatch´.
