K-12 Inquiry Exploratorium
The Fundamentals of Inquiry Workshop is designed for K-12 science teachers and is divided into five mini-workshops that will be facilitated over three days. The overall training gives teachers a thorough grounding in the pedagogy and practice of science inquiry. Participants examine different ways of teaching hands-on science, explore the process skills of inquiry, engage in a full scientific inquiry, and consider ways to include inquiry in their own classrooms. The five mini-workshops are Comparing Approaches to Hands-On Science, Process Skills, Raising Questions, Stream Table Inquiry, and Subtle Shifts.
