Coordinated School Health Team Training
This workshop will help school districts begin the process of implementing a Coordinated School Health Program at the building or district level. Workshop topics include: the link between health and learning, the eight components of Coordinated School Health, Assessing the health needs of your students, Resource mapping of your district/building health promoting activities, developing an implementation plan for Coordinated School Health, and sources of grant funding and writing grant proposals.
Health and Physical Education Teacher Workshop and Network Meeting
This workshop will provide updates in health and physical education curriculum (including alignment to the standards and benchmarks), coordinated school health programs in local school districts, and the health and physical educators´ network in Jackson County.
HIV/AIDS Teacher Certification Training

Sex Education Workshop
Participants will learn about the sex education laws in Michigan Schools, review a variety of engaging teaching methodologies and resources at their teaching level (elementary, middle school and high school) and learn about ways to involve parents in the sexuality education program/curriculum. NOTE: This is designed for teachers in schools who already have an approved sexuality education curriculum.
