Student Assistance Program (SAP) Training


 This program is designed for new members of existing Student Assistance Program (SAP) school teams. The training will provide new team members with the skills and knowledge necessary to become active members on an existing team. Training is developed based on Commonwealth approved competencies. Attendance is required for the entire training.

  • Risk and Resiliency Factors for Children
  • Core Team Model
  • Trauma and Child Development
  • Behavioral Health in students
  • Substance Abuse/Stages of Change
  • Cultural Awareness and Influences
  • Parent Involvement
  • PDE SAP reporting and Data Certification
  • Act 48 credits.
