This workshop is for PAHSCI Coaches, Mentors and related IU#1 staff

Coaches will discuss tools of instructional best practices, outside partherships to sustain the coaching project and the interconnectedness of coaching initiatives.

This workshop is for instructional coaches, lead teachers, department chairs, CFF coaches, and technology support coaches.

All coaches, including CFF coaches, are cordially invited to participate in a Coaching Community Day. Participants will collaborate with other instructional coaches to build a community of practice, share strategies, and think deeply about their craft. We will discuss the many roles of an instructional coach, share best practices for using classroom and PDE data to inform coaching decisions, and explore technology tools for communicating resources.

Participants should bring a laptop computer, if they have access to one.

Department chairs, technology coaches, and teachers leaders are encouraged to attend as well.

This workshop is for IU 1 School District Classroom for the Future Coaches.

This activity will provide professional development and support for the CFF coaches in the area of technology integration for grades K-12.

Sessions may also include relevant , content specific Internet searching, the discussion and use of various Web 2.0 tools, and the use of other technology devices such as interactive whiteboards and classroom response systems to effectively teach core content subjects. Techniques used to foster collaboration and implemetation will also be explored, as well as using data to determine instruction.

This workshop is for School district administrators who are currently participating in the Annenberg Coaching Project facilitated by IU 1.

This session will will provide an opportunity for participating school administrators, coaches, and IU 1 staff to brainstorm and discuss funding sources and action plans in response to the Year 4 RFP. The meeting will run from 8:30 - 11:30 with lunch at 11:30.

This workshop is for PAHSCI coaches to teach and discuss Susan Scott“s FIERCE CONVERSATIONS.

This workshop is for PAHSCI Coaches, Mentors, and Related IU #1 Staff.

The facilitator(s) will share information on various models of instructional coaching garnered from diverse sources (including the Governor“s Institute on Instructional Coaching from September, 2008) and relate these models to Pennsylvania“s SAS; the participants will then discuss coaching practices that they have found to be successful and methods to insure the sustainabliity of all that has so far been accomplished as well as what can be done to accomplish even more.
