Yr 3 IU 1 Staff Differentiated Instruction and Assessment

This workshop will orient new teachers to a framework for thinking about teaching and learning in mixed ability classrooms.

Participants will experiment with instructional techniques that optimize learning for ALL students in 21st Century classrooms. Likewise, they will learn to select and utilize accommodations/adaptations which ensure equitable treatment of diverse learners and maximize academic success.

This is an online IU 1 Staff Induction workshop. You will receive specific information concerning this workshop the day before the start date. If books or materials are inlcuded, these items will be mailed to you before the start date.

You will have 2 weeks to complete the workshop.

Participants must attend the entire course/workshop, arrive on time and stay the full time, sign in and out, complete the evaluation forms, participate in classroom activities and complete all course assignments at the proficient level to receive Act 48 credit or hours. All attendance or participation issues should be directed to Dr. Jarol DeVoge at devogej@iu1.k12.pa.us.
