This Induction Workshop registration is only for IU 1 Professional Staff in Induction.
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training focuses on verbal and nonverbal strategies to prevent acting out behaviors and verbal techniques to deescalate problem behavior. Principles of personal safety, team intervention, physical control and restraint techniques (as a last resort), and the coping strategies are also components of the training.
Dinner and registration 4:30 - 5:15, the class will start at 5:15.
