Asthma in Children and Youth: What Schools and Other Professionals Need to Know
This workshop is educators, social workers, nurses, parents.

This workshop will give an overview of asthma, it´s symtoms, trigger factors, and control measures needed in and out of the classroom. Objectives: Provide a review and up-to-date on School Asthma Basics to better manage asthma in thte classroom. Introduce components of SAI-School Asthma initiative through interactive demonstrations approporiate for k-12 students. Provide an overview of asthma management, allergens and pets, and testing and diagnosis.
