Individuals interested in refreshing their skills, learning new updates, or getting started with Keys2Work and My Career Journey are encouraged to participate. Middle and high school general and special educators, curriculum coordinators, principals, special education supervisors, & transition coordinators.
Participants will engage in hands-on activities in a small learning community to: increase their competence with the Keys2Work program as a refresher or, learn how to use the program for those who are new to the program. The new "My Career Journey" for middle school students will also be included in the sessions. My Career Journey is the new Middle School web based program developed by Smart Futures to assist school districts in meeting the requirements of the Pa Career and Work Standards as well as Transition as mandated in IDEA. This session will introduce the components of the program and afford hands-on activities for the participants. The sessions are limited to 12 participants to afford individualized attention by the instructor.
