Participants will learn how to assess the structures, processes and systems needed to create culturally gifted schools and "college-ready" cultures on their campuses. Leadership for College Readiness Trainings include: addressing how low student achievement head on, establishing compelling, challenging, and achievable goals, providing access, equity and support for all students in the most rigorous curriculum, implementing meaningful structures, processes and systems into the school site, shaping college-ready cultures and developing culturally gifted schools, and creating coherence in the roles/responsibilities for students, staff, administrators and parents. Registration cost is $500 per person for two days of training, appropriate materials, and continental breakfast and lunch on each day of training.
