Teachers new to Crockett MS will learn how to set up their gradebooks in preparation for the reporting process.

New Teachers will receive overview of Crockett Procedures/Vision/Mission

Crockett Math teachers will be trained on First Steps in Mathematics.

Crockett Math teachers will be trained to use First Steps in Mathematics. Ongoing strategies and program use will be discussed.

New Teachers will receive PDAS for New Teachers

Test administrators will be trained in testing procedures and confidentiality related to TAKS-M Field Testing.

CMS teachers will be trained on the iSafe curriculum and be shown how to access the iSafe site.

Teachers new to IISD hired at Crockett will be given laptop 101 training, plus be introduced to district programs such as gradespeed, blackboard, d2SC and the LoTI system.

Crockett teachers will familiarize themselves with OpenOffice Calc and brainstorm student lessons that can be created in Calc

Crockett teachers will familiarize themselves with OpenOffice Impress and brainstorm student lessons that can be created in Impress

Crockett teachers will familiarize themselves with OpenOffice Writer and brainstorm student lessons that can be created in Writer

Crockett MS Math Teachers will participate in training on QuickCheck creation in D2SC.

Crockett teachers will learn about the new licensed online program--SoundzAbound, how to cite it, and how to edit it in Audacity.

Crockett teachers can receive asssistance with the StarChart and we will be discussing the questions and what they mean.

Crockett teachers will attend a help session either learning about TechFusion for the first time, or to get assistance submitting their lesson to the database. Teachers will also rate one lesson in the database.

Crockett teachers have the opportunity to work with the ITS on GradeSpeed, Blackboard, and Teleparent to prepare for the rest of the year.
