Demystifying the Michigan Merit Exam - There is a crystal ball!
|
Participants will learn more about the Michigan Merit Examination through an in-depth analysis of the assessments and information about the scoring metrics and how the scores of each component impact the test. They will also have the opportunity to examine students’ historical EXPLORE®, PLAN®
MME, ACT and WorkKeys data.
The Michigan Merit Exam is often a mystery for teachers. In reality,
the content and structure of the components (ACT®, WorkKeys®, and Michigan items) that make up the MME are readily available to teachers, students and parents. Additionally, there is a predictive relationship between EXPLORE®, PLAN®, and the ACT. Predictive tools and practice assessments are also available for the WorkKeys component. Analysis of students’ scores on these predictive assessments can assist teachers to focus instruction for success on the MME.
