ACT Educational Planning

This session will detail the nuances of ACT´s Educational Planning and Assessment System (EPAS), college readiness standards, college readiness benchmarks, standard and optional reporting, and model uses currently practiced in Michigan schools. ACT´s EPAS is based on college readiness standards and is comprised of three robust assessments: EXPLORE, PLAN, and The ACT. These three assessments are constructed similarly and help schools achieve three goals--student achievement, school improvement, and an "apples to apples" data and counseling tool that begins as early as 8th grade and culminates with the ACT in the 11th and 12th grades.
