MiBLSi is proud to offer an Intervention Day on January 12, 2010: Road to the Code Training with ‘Make it & Take it” Session. Road to the Code: • Teaches phonemic awareness and letter sound correspondence. • Say-It-and-Move-It, Letter Name and Sound Instruction, and Phonological Awareness Practice—that give students repeated opportunities to practice and enhance their beginning reading and spelling abilities. • Detailed scripted instructions and reproducible materials • Flexibility to work with students individually or in small groups Teachers, reading teachers and/or paraprofessionals working with kindergartners from any MiBLSi Cohorts 4, 5, or 6 school in the Mid-Michigan Region are welcome to attend.
