           ´21 Things´ -For 21st Century Educators - Technology every educator should know [A]
This is an online course for educators that want to develop and expand their technology skills. You must attend in person for the first session to get you started. All the rest of the course is at your own pace, with tutorial sessions offered online (http://remc.na3.acrobat.com/twenty1things/ ) as well. This is a 10 week course, and meets National Technology Standards for Teachers. You will learn how to use a variety of Web 2.0 FREE programs for teaching and learning. You will create cool projects to improve your own efficiency, impact your classroom delivery. Join a professional learning community.            ´21 Things´ Agency Coordinator Training [A]
This is a training for ISD agency coordinators for rolling out the online course ´21 Things´-For 21st Century Educators. You will learn about the 21 Things, how to use Adobe Connect, register for SB-CEUs and college credit, deliver course content using virtual presentation tools, utilize free web tools, launch cohorts for teachers, learn about 21 Things for Administrators, create a 21 Things course using existing resources- attendees should be a RITS member or Intermediate School District/Regional Educational Service Centers designees.

           Career Cruising Basics [A]
Participants will learn to use Career Cruising. It is an online tool provided by Ingham ISD for students to create their Educational Development Plan (EDP) and explore possible careers and plan for their future. They will delve into the many functions of Career Cruising including: Career Matchmaker (Interest inventory), School Selector (School profiles for thousands of colleges and universities), Career Exploration, Career Pathways, Job Profiles, Components of the EDP Tool and Resume Builder, Resources for Career Advisors, Counselors and Teachers. This session is designed as a refresher or initial experience into the online tool, as well as support for the administrative functions of the website.
           KeyTrain -- Quick Tour [A]
This session is a quick tour and review of KeyTrain®. The session will focus on topics and questions the participants bring to the session. Participants will have the opportunity to review the features of KeyTrain and learn about updates and enhancements. KeyTrain® is a curriculum designed to achieve mastery of the applied workplace skills assessed by WorkKeys. WorkKeys’ Applied Mathematics, Locating Information and Reading for Information assessments are components of the Michigan Merit Exam. KeyTrain® courses utilize a multi-sensory, multimedia experience; learning includes both simple skill demonstrations and high-level activities that require complex problem-solving abilities, building the learner´s skill level and confidence throughout the process. In the KeyTrain learning system, participants will learn to create and edit student accounts, create classes and assign lessons, and understand administrative features. KeyTrain Training is a curriculum designed to achieve mastery of the applied workplace skills assessed by WorkKeys. WorkKeys Applied Mathematics, Locating Information, and Reading for Information assessments are components of the Michigan Merit Examination. KeyTrain® courses utilize a multi-sensory, multimedia experience. Learning includes both simple skill demonstrations and high-level activities that require complex problem-solving abilities, building the learner´s skill level and confidence throughout the process. Learning modules include 16 career clusters and provide examples of real skill levels corresponding to skill levels required of jobs.
