A. GreatSchoolJobs.com is a free national
online job posting and databank service for job seekers and school
organizations. It’s designed to help schools systems meet the challenge
of recruiting and hiring quality candidates. A candidate can post
his or her profile once and it’s instantly available to over 14,000
school districts nationwide. A candidate can also search for positions
posted by school districts based on individual strengths and “push”
their profiles and supporting documents to organizations of their
choice.
Q. There are a lot of job banks and job posting systems
out there already. Why another one?
A. Easy, none are comprehensive – that is open
free of charge to all public school districts everywhere.
None are statewide without restriction. None are nationwide. Finally,
in our opinion, none are as easy to use, or as full featured, or
certainly as cost-effective.

A. Again, there is no charge to public school organizations
for using GreatSchoolJobs.com. To be truly comprehensive,
every district in every state must have free access. Each state
will have its own site with its own certifications and areas of

will have the ability to search the job bank for candidates based

of expertise, coaching experience, etc without charge or obligation.
Once found, a candidate may be contacted through GreatSchoolJobs.com’s
email link or called directly and invited to apply through whatever
candidate-review process the district offers. Districts can also
quickly and easily post detailed positions as well as create and
maintain an informational “sell sheet” with links back to their
organization’s web page.
Q. How long will this be free?
A.We feel that GreatSchooljobs.com should always
be free to all districts and job seekers. Solutionwhere.com, Inc.
will recover costs of hosting through the optional subscription
of its Hirewhere plug-in
for those school districts that want additional features beyond
those offered by GreatSchoolJobs.com. Once a candidate is
found through GreatSchoolJobs.com, Hirewhere
takes candidate evaluation/review to a higher level by managing
short-listed applicants in a paperless process. It does away with
multiple hardcopies of files, manages review teams, creates custom
applicant-profile forms, can incorporate third party screening processes,
background checks, and lots more. There is absolutely no obligation
to use Hirewhere, however.

to make this data available to anyone else. Data is not sold nor

Q. What does a subscription
to hirewhere cost?
A. Costs for this optional plug-in are based on
the number of staff in the organization. There is a minimum charge
of $650 a year for a small district with large districts paying
up to $2,900 a year. The cost for an average-sized district would
be around $2,000 a year. We’d be happy to quote on a statewide implementation
of Hirewhere on request.

A. The entire system is encrypted and individual
profiles and district administrative sites are password protected.
