Description: Participants will examine effective literacy strategies to improve the process of acquiring meaning from text.
Target Audience: Middle and High School Teachers
Learner Outcomes: As a result of this course, participants will: - learn the critical attributes of a lesson design;
- address Academic Learning Time in lesson design and implementation;
- examine the continuum of literacy;
- determine instructional strategies for acquiring meaning from text.
