Participants will examine effective literacy strategies to improve the process of acquiring meaning from text.


Target Audience:
Middle and High School Teachers

Learner Outcomes:
As a result of this course, participants will:
  • learn the critical attributes of a lesson design;
  • address Academic Learning Time in lesson design and implementation;
  • examine the continuum of literacy;
  • determine instructional strategies for acquiring meaning from text.
