Description: This training will prepare participants to administer DIBELS measures using a handheld PDA device. Multiple sessions will include 2 hours of orientation, 6 hours of administration training, and 2 hours of supervised practice and data analysis.
Target Audience: K-2 teachers and support staff in selected Phase IV Schools (Florence, Frazier, Guilford, Hampton, Jamestown, Johnson Street, Joyner, Millis Road, Oak Ridge, Southern, Vandalia, Wiley).
Learner Outcomes: Participants will be able to administer DIBELS measures using handheld computer technology and use the resulting data to provide focused, explicit literacy instruction and progress monitor struggling K-2 students.
Prerequisite: Participants must work in a selected Phase IV school.
