Participants will be engaged in hands-on activities that use a garden as an integrating theme across the curriclum, correlating with the Standard Course of Study. Teachers will learn necessary skills to create and maintain a school garden.

Teachers will learn skills to build and maintain raised bed for creating a school garden. Activities presented will allow teachers to bring real world examples to allow studnets to experience science outside the classroom.
