Description:
GUILFORD COUNTY SCHOOLS Strategies for program delivery of Career Development and Special Populations support services for high school CTE students. Ten sessions throughout the year will address topics such as strategies to assist CTE students in meeting academic and technical competencies; career development focusing on assisting students in completion of a CTP or CPCT course of study; outreach and recruitment; transition from CTE courses of study to post-seconday study or work; articulation between high school, community college, and 4 year degree programs; and annual accountability and planning.

Target Audience:
Selected GCS CTE High School Career Development Coordinators and Special Populations Coordinators

Learner Outcomes:
As a result of this workshop, Career Development Coordinators and Special Populations Coordinators will develop program delivery strategies for attainment of CTE performance indicator outcomes and support services for CTE students.

Prerequisite:
Participants must be currently employed as a GCS high school CTE Career Development Coordinator or Special Populations Coordinator
