Description:
New teachers will focus on classroom management, INTASC Standard GCS policies and procedures, and parent conferencing, and planning and evaluating effective lessons following the NC Standard Course of Study.
Target Audience:
All first year initially licensed teachers.
Learner Outcomes:
As a result of this orientation, teachers will become familiar with GCS Policies and Procedures, INTASC Standards, and effective strategies for planning and managing a classroom.
Prerequisite:
Be classified as a first year initially licensed teacher.
