RtI for Middle School and High School: Strengthening the Problem-Solving Team and Selecting Effective Interventions
The engine that drives strong RTI programs at middle and high schools is the Problem-Solving Team. This workshop will provide secondary schools with a format to develop problem-solving teams, and ways to enhance their functioning and effectiveness. The training will also review a series of academic and behavioral interventions suitable for use by any content-area teacher and will offer ideas for struggling students. Participants will learn about free intervention resources available online for secondary schools.
Team registration encouraged, although, not required. This is NOT a repeat of RtI presentations sponsored by GISD in December 2009 at the Genesys Conference Center in Grand Blanc.
