           Collaborative Leadership for IEP Team Meetings
Builds on the Essential Skills and IEP Content workshops. This workshop builds capacity for teams as they strive to develop compliance IEPs with educational benefit. Appropriate meeting intervention techniques, addressing team members with multiple roles and supporting student led IEPT meetings will be addressed.
           CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Refresher [A]
This is a renewal course where participants will have the opportunity to develop a greater understanding of course concepts, problem solve and strengthen crisis intervention skills. Participants will also receive additional supporting information, and demonstrate ability and confidence in applying course content and skills to real-life work experiences. This training is designed for school staff only.
           Diversity Awareness and Non-Verbal Communication
Clarity of message is imperative especially in the IEP setting. This workshop will explore respectful communicaiton between everyone including those from other cultures or those with challenges. The impact of cultures on non-verbal communication will be stressed.
           Easy IEP Training [A]
Easy IEP trainings are intended for staff not familiar with Easy IEP or those seeking a refresher. Any staff attending a training session should have an Easy IEP login and password prior to attending the training. Please contact your Special Education office if you do not yet have a login and password.
           Essential Skills for IEP Meetings
Collaboration between educators and parents is essential to develop the best education programs for children with disabilities. This interactive workshop provides participants with practical skills for maximizing effective participation and agreement at IEP meetings.
           IEP Content Collaboration with Compliance
This workshop will discuss the IEP process under IDEA with a focus on the potential for collaborative work that is student-centered and promotes parent/district partnerships.
           Medicaid/Student Data Collection Training - Ancillary Staff [A]
These trainings are intended for staff who are not familiar with Medicaid billing, or for staff who would like a refresher. Any staff attending a training session should have an Easy IEP login and password. Please contact your Special Education office if you do not yet have a login and password. Trainings for ancillary and teaching staff are very different and therefore staff should be sure to register for the appropriate training.

Note: Teachers must have an endorsement in special education in order to bill Medicaid services.
           Sustaining IEP Team Meeting Skills Seminar
Open to participants who have completed Essential Skills, IEP Content and Collaborative Leadership. Participants will complete a pre-seminar questionnaire to focus the discussion on relevant topics and covers advanced techniques for sustaining a collaborative effort in the IEP process.
           Transition and Student Participation
This training, for school personnel, families and students, is designed to provide ideas to improve the transition process from school to post school life. Early planning is necessary to ensure compliance with new MME graduation requirements and to allow modifications on the ACT test. Personal curriculum will be discussed as well.
