Michigan Model for Health, Grades 9-12--Nutrition and Physical Activity Modules

This workshop will focus on the Nutrition and Physical Activity Modules (Stay Physically Active-For Life and Help Yourself to Good Nutrition for grades 9-12.

Participants will:
  • Connect the implementation of school heatlh education to Michigan´s Health Education Content Standards and Grade Level Expectations
  • Create an understanding of philosophy and goals of the Michigan Model
  • Develop a comfort level for using the curriculum manual
  • Disseminate current and accurate health content knowledge
  • Preview instructional materials used in the curriculum


    • Note: Registration fee for SPLASH participants is covered by the nutrition grant.
