This workshop will focus on the Nutrition and Physical Activity Modules (Stay Physically Active-For Life and Help Yourself to Good Nutrition for grades 9-12.
Participants will:
- Connect the implementation of school heatlh education to Michigan´s Health Education Content Standards and Grade Level Expectations
- Create an understanding of philosophy and goals of the Michigan Model
- Develop a comfort level for using the curriculum manual
- Disseminate current and accurate health content knowledge
- Preview instructional materials used in the curriculum
Note: Registration fee for SPLASH participants is covered by the nutrition grant.
