Parent Involvement & Title I ... Increase Parent Involvement & Increase Student Achievement. Are you ready for the next step? Join MAS/FPS for a one day team training workshop.
School, Family & Community Connections: Strengthening Your Program of Partnerships. This workshop will help attendees: Understand the framework of the six types of involvement; Recognize the starting points of present practices at their schools; Understand that they must meet specific challenges to conduct a high-quality program of productive partnerships with all families; Know that practices of partnership can be linked to specific school goals/strategies for improving the school climate and for helping students reach academic and behavioral results; Understand the structure and members of an Action Team for Partnerships ; Write a draft of a One-Year Action Plan for Partnerships for the next school year Online registration will be handled beginning January 8, 2010 by MAS/FPS at www.masfps.org (events tab). Cost: Teams of up to 3 partcipants = $379.00 (includes a team copy of School, Family and Community Partnerships: your handbook for action, all meals and handouts). Additional team members = $125.00 each.
