Certified Nurse Aid (CNA)- June 21 - July 16, 2010

This class which prepares an individual to become a certified nursing assistant is offered by the Gratiot-Isabella RESD and Gratiot Technical Education Center (GTEC) for individuals interested in a health care career exploration and mastery of basic patient care skills.
The course provides trainees with a combination of 90 hours of classroom and laboratory instruction, as well as clinical experience at long-term care facilities. Trainees also receive interviewing skills training geared specifically for health care professionals and a CNA employer job fair.
Requirements: Individuals must provide completed physical examination form and documentation of negative TB test on the first day of class. Individuals must have navy scrubs, white shoes, and a watch with a second hand to participate in this class.
