First Ten Days: A Genre Study for Test Preparation ( Available On Site!)
Ensure that the test preparation you do is NOT lost instructional time! Created by Oakland Schools, The First Ten Days is designed as a test genre overview and units focus on key strategies that have the most impact on reading and writing performance and test taking skill. Materials, lesson plans, and instructional strategies are shared for grades 3 – 8, focusing on ELA Grade Level Content Expectations, the MEAP test, strategies for handling test questions, and reading and writing on demand.
