The Danielson Framework for Teaching: Course 1 - 115
|
Domain 1: Planning and Preparation
Domain 4: Professional Responsibilities
Domains 1 and 4 are considered to be the “off stage” Domains of the Danielson frameworks, as they usually occur outside of the classroom. Instructional planning (Domain 1) includes a deep understanding of content and pedagogy, as well as an understanding and appreciation of our students and what they bring to the educational encounter. The content must also be transformed through instructional design into sequences of activities that make it accessible to all students. Domain 4 consists of a wide range of professional responsibilities that include self-reflection and professional growth.
Learn how Domains 1 and 4 connect and can streamline your instructional practice.
