           Archdiocese of PA Technology Learning Series
This will be a series of Technology workshops held at the Bucks County Intermediate Unit for Archdiocese schools in Bucks County, and is strictly for nonpublic participants. Series includes: 1) GOOGLE EARTH, 2) DIGITAL VIDEO (Discovery Streaming), 3) GOOGLE TOOLS
           Introduction to the Writer´s Notebook
Audience: Limited ONLY to St. Martin Tours Staff

This workshop will introduce participants to the writer´s notebook, providing a framework to begin using the tool with students. All participants will receive Ralph Fletcher´s book, "A Writer´s Notebook--Unlocking the Writer Within You."

           Reading Instruction for All [A]
Three hour workshop presentation for elementary teachers at Abrams Hebrew Academy. The topic is Reading Instruction For All, and will provide a comprehensive overview of the five essential skills for beginning reading, along with practical, hands-on activities.
This workshop is for Abrams Hebrew Academy Only
           Wilson Training: Fundations Workshop: Wilson Language Basics, Introduction and Level 1 [A]
This 5-hour training is for teachers in BUCKS COUNTY NON-PUBLIC SCHOOLS ONLY. Lunch is on your own.

Wilson Fundations is a phonological/phonemic awareness, phonics and spelling program for the general education classroom, and serves as a prevention program to help reduce reading and spelling failure. The introductory module covered in the morning focuses on underlying principles of Fundations, background knowledge for effective program implementation, and how it addresses the essential components of reading. The afternoon session focuses on skills, materials, activities and lesson planning for Level 1.

This workshop is most appropriate for those teaching K, 1, or 2 who have not had prior Wilson training.
