PPID (Professional Personal Identification Number)
- A 7 digit number that was issued by the PA
Department of Education in July of 2006 to replace
the use of your social security number as
identification. You must go to the PDE website to
get this number. While this ID is optional at this
time, it will be required in the near future. You
must have this number in your profile information for
BCIU to report Act 48 hours to PDE.
To get your PPID: Go to the PDE
website -
http://
www.pde.state.pa.us
Click on "Access Services"
Click on “Act 48 Reporting System”
Click “Get your Professional Personal ID”
Registration procedures: BCIU‘s
workshops require you to sign in and out.
This will better facilitate the calculation of Act 48
hours, as well as, provide the IU with knowledge of
the accurate occupancy of our building in the event
of an emergency. Your cooperation is greatly
appreciated.
Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel
your registration for an event, you must do so at
least 2 days prior to the program start date or you
will be held responsible for the course payment.
Photographs: It is possible that
photographs and/or video will be taken at an event.
These photographs are often posted to the Bucks
County Schools Intermediate Unit´s website. If you do
not want your picture displayed on the webpage,
please contact JoAnn Perotti at jperotti@bucksiu.org.
Parking: When attending any event
held at the Intermediate Unit, NO parking is
permitted at the Georgetown Commons nor at the Senior
Citizens Center located across the street from the IU.
