Creating an Active Learning Environment in a Pre-K Classroom

Participants will explore the topic of how to create a classroom environment that encourages educators and young children to become actively involved in the learning process. We plan to spend time in each of our Pre-K classrooms discussing the physical layout of the area using the ECERS tool as a guide. Our goal is to develop a comprehensive plan to provide each young child in our program with an authentic experience that connects learning with real life.
