Phonics First™ Foundations - Orton-Gillingham Restricted to Select Districts
Bangor, Bay City, and Pinconning districts only

This class is designed to review the RLAC Phonics First™ Orton-Gillingham training. Methods and strategies will be reviewed, new insights will be gained and accuracy of the program will be ensured. Trainer will review all concepts and lead a question-and-answer session.

Participants will review:

  • Stages of reading development
  • Phonemic awareness strategies
  • Visual, auditory, and kinesthetic techniques for phonetic and non-phonetic words
  • Decoding strategies
Participants include all previous Orton-Gillingham participants in Bangor, Bay City, and Pinconning districts only.
