Understanding Mental Health Disorders in Today´s Youth

Audience: School Counselors K-12, Educators K-12

Course Narrative:
This presentation will assist the school counselor in comprehending when a student’s behavior is a warning sign of a mental health concern, or simply a sign of their developmental behavior.

Course Objectives:
Counselors will learn to assist teachers as to why a student is displaying certain behaviors and the side effects of certain medications.
